Heaton is home to most of the student accommodation in Newcastle and is popular with students from both uni's.
Easy access to town on the number one bus or by foot at only a 20 minute walk.
Rents are in the region of £50-70 a week for shared accommodation and a little more for smaller 2 bedroom flats.
The area is made up primarily of Tyneside flats of 2 or 3 bedrooms and 5 or 6 bedroom Victorian student houses.
4 bedroom student properties are a little rarer so search early! Heaton is well serviced with many takeaways, several grocery stores and a couple of bars.
Echo bar is the most notable venue and is modern and relaxed with a very reasonable happy hour from 5pm to 7pm on weeknights and
cheap student friendly food throughout the day and early evening.
Our Heaton Office is on heaton Road right opposite the number 1 bus stop.

Sitting just outside of Newcastle's city centre is Jesmond- long favoured as a pleasant suburb for the citys professional elite,
and now the most sought after student housing area in Newcastle. Journey time to both universities on foot is
approximately 10-20 minutes depending on where you live and how heavy the previous night was!
There are also two metro stations in Jesmond and both will get you to Haymarket in a matter of minutes.
Running through the middle of Jesmond is Osbourne Road. Osborne Road is lined with funky bars, chic hotels and great restaurants.
Always busy and much loved by locals and students alike, the nationally (in)famous avenue's highlights include Bar Blanc, Spy Bar and Bar Belize.
There are also many places to eat in the area- Scalinis at the top of Osbourne Road and breakfastastic Kitschn on Acorn Road are
just a couple of the best. Being so popular Jesmond is inevitably the most expensive place to live for a student in Newcastle - rents
are usually between £65 and £80 pppw but can go as high as £ 100+ per person per week. These prices though reflect the high level of services available to the Jesmond student community and
also the ideal location of Jesmond in relation to the centre of town.
